Since the advent of the bicycle, two-wheeled outdoor adventures have been part of bicyclist culture. With today’s access to public lands, developments in multi-surface terrain bikes, and the electric variants cropping up exponentially, more and more adventure seekers are capable of riding up steep mountains and through forest roads.
REI Co-op launched Camping Project, a new product that enables users to search for bookable campsites and outdoor properties by location and nearby activities. REI members and customers can now search REI.com for more than 3,400 bookable campgrounds, cabins, and lookouts and thousands of other outdoor properties using Recreation.gov data.
REI Adventures, the active travel company part of national outdoor co-op REI, is launching 20 trips, bringing the total for the year to more than 40 new itineraries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America.
