The Revel Propulsion produces 60NM of torque making it slightly less powerful than most OEM combinations. Additionally, the system has a very expensive torque sensing bottom bracket, one of the few DIY products with this feature. This will increase the seamlessness of the transition as the motor’s power is incorporated.

The Sea Otter Classic continues to break grounds in the cycling community with a new addition to this year’s racing schedule, an eMTB race. This is the first e-bike race of it’s kind in North America, comparable only to the Rad Am Ring track race in Germany. The Sea Otter, however, does things a little differently; this year they will be taking the eMTB off the asphalt and onto dirt with plenty of climbing combined with a challenging cross country course.
