My friend Ron’s granddaughter is a precocious nine years old with a penchant for mechanical things. She conceived the e-Chariot to be a vehicle that would allow her family, including her 12-year-old physically challenged sister Hailey, to bicycle together.

eMTB Race added to the 2016 Sea Otter Classic

The Sea Otter Classic continues to break grounds in the cycling community with a new addition to this year’s racing schedule, an eMTB race. This is the first e-bike race of it’s kind in North America, comparable only to the Rad Am Ring track race in Germany. The Sea Otter, however, does things a little differently; this year they will be taking the eMTB off the asphalt and onto dirt with plenty of climbing combined with a challenging cross country course.
