The Man Ride – On this special episode, Chris speaks with Aaron Stinner, from Stinner Frameworks, about his 4-day journey with Black Sheep Cycling and Men of Steel to raise awareness about Men’s mental health. It’s called The Man Ride and the US chapter will be riding out from Santa Barbara on Thursday, September 29th to end in Legget Oregon on Sunday, October 2nd.
Aaron is using this opportunity to encourage a conversation about depression and mental health amongst men in the United States. From the physical benefits of cycling to the sense of camaraderie while riding with friends, the bike can be a tool to fight depression.
Aaron and his fellow comrades from the Men of Steel Cycling will be making some pit stops along the way. They are encouraging cyclists to join up and ride alongside for a bit or possibly say hello at coffee stops along the way.
Their daily destinations on the four-day journey:
151mi – Bodega Bay
155mi – Santa Cruz
136mi – Cabrillo Hwy
151mi – Aero Camino
