We get a lesson in bicycle and pedestrian rights from the Bicycle Attorney, Mr. Thomas Forsyth, and we talk about the track cycling events at this year’s Olympics. A video is making its way around the internet of a driver in Corona Del Mar cursing out a cyclist for riding on the road; problem is that the road is considered a “sharrow” which is a lane that allows for automobiles and bicycles. We commend the cyclist for keeping his cool while the driver yells in his face.
This week’s episode is brought to you by Phil Gaimon’s Gran Fondo, the Malibu Gran Cookie Dough. Phil Gaimon has put together a great route including thrilling Malibu descents, challenging Santa Monica Mountain Climbs, pro training routes supported by Mavic Neutral Support, and cookies and gourmet lunch provided by celebrity Chef Jeff Mahin of M Street Kitchen in Santa Monica. Share the road with Cannondale-Drapac Team Members, World Tour Pros & Special Guests on November 06, 2016.
