This episode we talk riding in the Southern California heat, rules of the road, and the beginning stages of the Tour of Utah.
Our editorial team offers some tips for riding in the hot weather, which includes drinking electrolytes on the ride and stocking up on plenty of water the night before. We also talk the frustrations we experience when pedestrians (and sometimes even bicyclists) use the bike lanes going the wrong direction. As we do our best to follow the rules of the road and take extra precautions, we wish some folks would use their common sense.
The Tour of Utah has been really fun to watch and we’re only on Stage 4. We especially enjoyed watching the riders ride through Zion National Park on the first stage. We talk some of the familiar faces, including local Californian Jon Hornbeck from Holowesko-Citadel p/b Hincapie who is featured in the latest issue of socal Bicyclist. We also discuss the unexpected leader of the General Classification, Lachlan Morton, who we were excited to see come back from his break from cycling. Lastly, Chris tells us about the Dromarti Race shoe cycling experience.
Lastly, Chris tells us about the Dromarti Race shoe cycling experience and how their breathability is incomparable.
