Dario Pegoretti is largely regarded to be one of the greatest steel framebuilders in the world today. Operating out of us studio in Italy, he trained as an apprentice under master builder Luigino Milani. Pegoretti is often credited with the development of lugless frames and the use of TIG welding construction techniques, the modern method of frame-building.
Beyond his excellence as a framebuilder, Pegoretti is a renowned artist using his frames as the canvas for his custom designs and his talents are featured on bikes he has built and painted for some of the greatest athletes of the sport.
This year, he has released a limited collection of Centennial Edition SuperPista Ultimates to celebrate SILCA’s centennial anniversary that he has meticulously hand-painted. These one of a kind pumps will feature his artistic interpretations of renderings, logos, and specs of products SILCA has released over the last 100 years.
The entire collection will go on sale on the SILCA website on September 14th.
